Firefighters are battling a blaze in a northern suburbs industrial area that has sent plumes of toxic smoke billowing over the suburbs.
Fire crews were called to Johansson Rd at Wingfield just after 11am on Friday, following reports a fire had broken out in a shed structure.
MFS firefighters were able to control the fire within 30 minutes, with crews currently working to extinguish any remaining hot spots.
No injuries have been reported and there is no further risk to the community.
