Torrensville teenager dies in motorbike crash in Edinburgh
A teenage motorbike rider has died after losing control at a roundabout and crashing into a fence at Edinburgh.

A teenager has died after losing control of his motorbike at a northern suburbs roundabout and crashing into a fence.
The crash happened at 12.30am on Saturday, when police say the 19-year-old male, of Torrensville, “failed to negotiate a roundabout” at the intersection of West and Third Avenues at Edinburgh.
He left the road, crashed into a fence and died at the scene.

West Avenue was closed for several hours while Major Crash officers investigated the scene.
The teenager’s death is the 89th life lost on SA roads this year, compared with 79 at the same time last year. He is the 17th motorcyclist to die this year.
His death comes after two horrific crashes in country roads in the state’s South East.
A woman, 70, of Hawthorndene, died after crashing her car into a Stobie pole at Millicent on Thursday.
Less than a week earlier, a Mount Gambier man, 31, was killed when he crashed into a tree at Tarpeena.
