A division 12 amateur football match billed as “the biggest game of ressies ever” attracted a crowd of more than 5000 people on Friday night.
The match between Lockleys and Prince Alfred College Old Collegians at Lockleys Oval was organised by the men behind the popular Marmalade TikTok account, known as ‘Checkers’, Srey and Jim.
Their account, which follows the antics of the Lockeys Football Club, has garnered more than 85,000 followers and north of 5 million likes.

Checkers said the game would be “the biggest game of ressies ever”, and was “all about raising money for the juniors at the footy club”.
“It was a community event and we put it on for the kids.”
Hundreds of fans entered the field when Srey kicked a goal.
“Srey hasn’t kicked a goal all year and he kicked it in the big game.”
It is the fourth charity event the group has held this year, Checkers said.
It involved South Australian celebrities, including supermarket chain owner JP Drake and Channel 9 sports reporter Tom Rehn.
At the end of the match, the home team suffered a resounding defeat by 61 points but the event was not about the result.
In June, Checkers spotted Premier Peter Malinauskas playing for Adelaide University Football Club on an adjacent oval on Saturday and decided to give him a special delivery at quarter time.
“He looked like he needed a choccy milk desperately,” a TikTok video documenting the experience said.
“So the div 12 ressie boys came through clutch.
“Pete was so excited to indulge in some choccy milk goodness.”
The special delivery seemed to elevate the Premier’s standard of play, with the video capturing him pulling off several courageous marks in the second half of the match.
“It even made him start playing like an elite player,” the video said.
Mr Malinauskas even returned the favour by delivering ‘Checkers’ his own shipment of chocolate milk at the quarter-time break of his game for Lockleys, which he gratefully accepted.
