A MAN has appeared in court charged over a hit-and-run robbery outside a Norwood cafe earlier this month.

The 25-year-old Glenunga man — who cannot be identified for legal reasons — appeared in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on Thursday.

He is charged with theft, causing harm to another, failing to stop after an accident and altering, fabricating or concealing evidence.

The charges stem from the alleged hit-and-run of BTS Cafe worker Jeph Ko, who was robbed of his computer while sitting outside at Manto Cafe, on the corner of The Parade and George St, on July 3.

While chasing down the alleged robbers, Mr Ko was struck by a car and dragged up to 40m along George St.

The Glenunga man is the third man to be charged over the incident.

His name and identity were suppressed by the court because publication could prejudice the case.

He will reappear in court in September.

The man’s co accused — who also cannot be named for legal reasons — appeared in court on July 6.

Another man has been charged with impeding the investigation by alleging setting fire to the van involved in the incident.
