A teenager has been arrested after a man was stabbed in the back in an allegedly unprovoked and random attack at a Noarlunga shopping centre.
Emergency services responded to reports of an assault at the Noarlunga Centre bus interchange at 5.30pm on Sunday.
A 25-year-old Hackham man was stabbed in the back and was rushed to the Flinders Medical Centre with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspect was located and apprehended by police near the Beach Rd expressway ramp.
A knife believed to have been used in the attack was recovered by police.
The victim and suspect are not believed to be known to each other.
The 18-year-old Morphett Vale man was arrested and charged with aggravated cause serious harm.
He did not apply for bail and will appear in the Christies Beach Magistrates Court on Monday.
