Suspicious car fire in Croydon Park under investigation
A suspicious car fire is under investigation after a propane tank was found inside the vehicle.

A suspicious car fire which completely destroyed a vehicle in Croydon Park is currently under investigation.
On Friday night at about 11.45pm, police were called to Mercedes Ave in Croydon Park after reports of a car ablaze.
The fire crew were quick to attend the scene and extinguish the flames, however the blaze had completely destroyed the vehicle, a Kia Sorrento.
The firefighters located what appeared to be a propane tank inside the car, located on the passenger footwell and are treating the fire as suspicious.
Crime Scene Investigators will be on the scene Saturday morning to determine the cause of the fire.
