South Australia bracing for mini heatwave as temperatures set to hit mid 40s
It’s heating up across Adelaide and it will be even hotter in SA’s regions with temperatures reaching the mid 40s in many parts of the state over the coming days.

South Australians will enjoy sunny skies and pleasant temperatures in the mid 20s on Wednesday before the state is set to swelter with plus-40C days to hit into the weekend.
In Adelaide, people will no doubt be flocking to the beaches, with a top of 26C expected for Wednesday before the temperature starts heating up, pushing towards 40C on Sunday.
The city is tipped for highs of 28C on Thursday, 29C on Friday, 33C on Saturday and 39C on Sunday.
Most of the state’s regional centres will also enjoy temperature maximums in the mid to high 20s on Wednesday before also feeling the heat late in the week and the weekend.
Port Augusta residents can brace for a scorcher, with Friday tipped for a top of 41C, 44C for Saturday and 43C for Sunday.
Renmark, in the state’s Riverland, is forecast for a top of 30C on Wednesday, 33C on Thursday, 36C on Saturday, 41C on Sunday and 43C on Monday.
Oodnadatta will live up to its reputation as Australia’s hottest, driest town with 39C tipped for Wednesday before a run of six days over 40C up to next Tuesday – with a whopping 46C tipped for Monday.
