Sharks sighted at string of popular southern Adelaide beaches
Police have been forced to issue a spate of alerts to beachgoers after sharks were spotted at a string of Adelaide beaches on Tuesday.

Police have issued a series of warnings to beach lovers after several shark sightings on Tuesday.
Three alerts were issued on social media in about 40 minutes from just before noon, reporting sharks, including a 2m bronze whaler, had been spotted at Port Willunga, O’Sullivans and Aldinga beaches.
One was spotted only 50m from shore.

On Sunday, a 3m great white shark was seen at Aldinga Beach about 100m from shore.
Four bronze whaler sharks were also sighted at Christies Beach at the end of last month.
Also last month, Surf Lifesaving SA announced more drones, more pilots and more cameras would be rolled out this summer as it prepares to improve safety for swimmers and beachgoers.
According to a Primary Industries log, there have been numerous shark sightings through October and November.
A great white was reported off Henley Beach on November 1, while two unknown sharks were seen at Glenelg the same day.
The same day a great white was reported at Stokes Bay on Kangaroo Island.
