The transcripts, which detail chat logs between McCoole and a Swedish administrator of an international child pornography site, have been tendered to a Danish Court.

In the log, McCoole replies “LOL” — a chat term for “laugh out loud” — to the despicable plan to buy the baby and keep it in a Swedish basement to be abused, when told about it by depraved associate, 29-year-old Oscar Gulhagg.

“Is that right? Really? LOL. I haven’t seen him (a third associate) for a while. How is he planning to hide it? He has no money,” McCoole writes.

Gulhagg allegedly replies: “I don’t know if it will succeed, but I’ll pay for it.”

McCoole then says he hopes Gulhagg, and the Danish man who goes by the online username Haba, had really thought their plan through as they were “really taking some chances”.

McCoole asks how hard it will be to get the baby out of Romania to which his Swedish associate allegedly replies: “Yeah, it’s difficult, don’t know hard it will be with border controls, but I presume I can just pretend that I’ll adopt it.”

In a chilling final entry, Gulhagg allegedly tells McCoole: “You know me. I’m not pure evil, so I’ll not store (the baby) here in the basement as a sex toy all the time.”

McCoole, who abused vulnerable children in his care while employed by Families SA, has taken responsibility for the online conversation while the Swede has admitted his username was used in the chat but has not admitted he wrote the entries.

McCoole will take the stand on Friday in a Royal Commission case study that is investigating how he was able to infiltrate and manipulate Families SA.

At the time of the conversation in June 2010, McCoole was working part time at a southern suburbs out of school hours care centre while studying a teaching degree at the University of South Australia.

Gulhagg is facing charges in his home country, while “Haba”, is facing multiple charges in Denmark over the alleged crime.

The 48-year-old, of Denmark, has admitted to filming and sexually abusing the four children of one of his friends but has denied the Romanian gypsy plan by claiming it was never seriously considered.

In a landmark trial, prosecutors are trying to hold him responsible for child rapes committed by other men because he and other administrators, including McCoole, encouraged it by requiring members to post new abuse pictures every 30 days or face a ban.

Prosecutors have told the northern European court the Dane should be held jointly responsible for 22 child rapes that were published on the site.

Dutchman Auke Vansickle this month told the Danish court, in Randers, that he went with “Haba” and Gulhagg to Romania in 2010 but left when he became aware they were serious about their plan to buy the baby.

In November, he was sentenced to five years jail for crimes relating to child abuse.

McCoole’s crimes have triggered a Royal Commission into the child protection system “shortfalls” that let McCoole to abuse those in his care.

The Commission case study into McCoole, which began last month, has heard many “red flags” were raised about McCoole — including a girl nicknaming him “Mr Paedophile” — before his arrest in June 2014.

Premier Jay Weatherill told parliament yesterday that he had not been asked to give formal evidence to the commission.

McCoole, has appealed the severity of his record 35-year jail sentence with a non-parole period of 28 years.

His appeal date is yet to be set.
