Semaphore Jetty has reopened to the public after emergency services recovered a body

Semaphore Jetty has reopened after emergency services were called to the beach on Tuesday morning.

Semaphore Jetty has reopened to the public following a temporary closure while emergency services recovered a body from the water.

Authorities were called to the northwestern beach on Tuesday morning, just after 7.30am, to recover a woman’s body.

The jetty has since reopened to the public.

The death is not being treated as suspicious.
