Shark expert explains the rise in attacks off South Australia coast

Beachgoers at a popular southern suburbs beach have been warned to look out for a shark that was spotted on Monday afternoon.

The two-metre bronze whaler was seen about 50 metres off the reef at Aldinga Beach, with South Australia Police issuing the alert on X (formerly Twitter) just after 1pm.

It comes after a three-metre great white shark was spotted about 100m offshore at Largs Beach about 17kms west of Adelaide, on Boxing Day.
