Renmark woman, 30, dies in hospital after head-on collision on the Karoonda Hwy, serious crash at Loxton
Emergency crews have rushed to a serious accident in Loxton that’s come after a Renmark woman died in hospital days after a separate crash.

A woman has been flown to an Adelaide hosptial after emergency crews were called to the scene of a serious accident at Loxton on Wednesday.
Police were called to East Tce at 3pm Wednesday after reports a car had crashed into a tree.
An 83-year-old woman, the driver and sole occupant of the car, was taken to the Loxton Hospital in a serious condition before being flown to Adelaide for treatment.
East Tce was closed for northbound traffic from the roundabout to Drabsch St while police investigated the crash but has since reopened.
It came after a 30-year-old woman died in hospital on Tuesday night after a head-on collision on the in the Murray Mallee east of Adelaide last week.
About 8.20am on Friday emergency services were called to the Karoonda Hwy between Wynarka and Chapman Bore, about 130km east of Adelaide, after reports of a two-car crash.
The Renmark woman, who was driving a Hyundai sedan, was airlifted to the Flinders Medical Centre in a critical condition as a result of the smash.
She has since died from her injuries sustained in the incident.
The driver of the other vehicle, a Nissan ute, a 63-year-old Karoonda man, was taken to Murray Bridge Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The Karoonda Hwy was closed between Kulde Rd and Boundary Rd following the incident but has since reopened.
Major Crash officers attended the scene and are investigating the circumstances of the crash.
The woman is the 66th life lost on South Australian roads so far this year, compared to 40 at the same time in 2022.
