Premier Peter Malinauskas and his wife, Annabel, have announced the arrival of their fourth child – a little boy called George.
The SA premier shared how his wife, a corporate lawyer, and George were “doing very well” after the birth on Thursday.
He tweeted, “On Thursday afternoon Annabel and I welcomed George Robert Malinauskas into the world, weighing 4.14kg,” tweeted Malinauskus.
“Both Annabel and George are doing very well, we feel so incredibly fortunate.
“Thanks so much to all the medical staff who have assisted George and Annabel, particularly Dr Chris Sexton who has done an amazing job delivering all our children.
Family is everything.”
The new arrival is the latest for the Malinauskus family, joining Sophie, 8, Jack, 6, and Eliza, 3.
In June, the couple announced that life was set to get a little busier for the Malinauskas household.
“We’re all very excited,” Mr Malinauskas said at the time. “Particularly Eliza, she’s the one that’s talking about it the most. The other two are excited about it too, but Eliza’s very inquisitive.
“She’s become a real talker in the last few months, so she’s sort of asking ‘baby, mummy, tummy, baby come out?’”
Mr Malinauskas also said he and Annabel didn’t find out the gender of the baby so Thursday’s arrival was a sweet surprise.
