The heartbroken mother of a woman killed in a crash at Jupiter Creek has remembered her daughter as a caring, loving and spontaneous woman.
Paige Heaysman was driving a Dodge sedan along Razor Back Rd when it left the road and crashed into a tree about 6.30am Monday.
Ms Heaysman, 30, was rushed to the Flinders Medical Centre for treatment but her condition deteriorated by Monday afternoon and she died from her injuries.
Her passenger, a Seacliff Park man, 29, suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries.
Ms Heaysman’s mother, Leonie, took to social media on Tuesday, and shared the devastating news her daughter, also known to family as Peggy, had died.
“With broken hearts our beautiful baby girl Paige Renee will forever be 29,” she wrote.
“Yesterday we lost our caring, loving, spontaneous daughter and sister.
“We will miss you so much, love you forever. Our memories of Peggy will always be with us.”
Hundreds of others have taken to Facebook to express their sorrow over the loss, including one woman who paid tribute to her “beautiful friend Paige”.
“This girl could light up a room,” she said.
“She holds a special place in our hears and will never be forgotten, my love goes out to her beautiful family.”
Another woman remembered Paige as a beautiful young lady.
“your bubbly, carefree and adventurous soul will be sorely missed,” she said.
Another said she was heartbroken.
“Paige was always just an absolute treasure with a real happy spark you don’t often see,” she said.
Ms Heaysman was a pilates instructor and owned her own business, Pilates with Paige.
“I remember taking her pilates classes and what a wonderful instructor she was,” a woman said.
