Man in critical condition after Barossa Valley motorbike crash

A 37-year-old Nuriootpa man is fighting for his life after colliding with a car on the Sturt Highway.

Police are investigating a serious crash between a car and motorbike in the northern Barossa Valley region on Tuesday night.

Just before 11pm on Tuesday, November 21, police and emergency services were called to the Sturt Highway at Daveyston after reports a car and motorcycle had collided.

The rider, a 37-year-old Nuriootpa man, sustained serious injuries and was flown to the Royal Adelaide Hospital where he remains in a critical condition.

Police reported the driver of the Mazda sedan was not injured and was assisting police with the investigation.
