A man has been hit by a car before being assaulted by a stranger overnight in Adelaide’s north-east. Earlier, a teenager was seriously hurt in another attack in a neighbouring suburb.

Mystery surrounds a violent incident which saw a man hit by a car before he was assaulted by a stranger in Adelaide’s city fringe.
Paramedics rushed to Briar Rd at Felixstow about 4am Friday where the man had been struck and attacked.
The man, 40, suffered arm and leg injuries and was rushed to hospital in a serious but stable condition.
Police are yet to find the driver involved in the incident.
It follows an earlier, unrelated assault at nearby Klemzig, where a man had walked to the Klemzig Interchange about 11pm Thursday after being attacked at an address earlier that night.
On arrival, paramedics and police found an Adelaide man, 18, with head and facial injuries.
He was taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
Detectives went to the Klemzig Interchange and a nearby address on Boucaut Ave to investigate.
