Man dies after medical episode then crashing car at Brahma Lodge
A man has died after suffering a medical episode in his car and crashing moments later in the northern suburbs. It’s the second smash involving a Stobie pole in a matter of days.

A man has died after he experienced a medical episode while driving at Brahma Lodge, in Adelaide’s north, on Tuesday morning and crashed his car.
Just before 8am, emergency services were called to Dorothy St following to reports a car had hit a Stobie pole.
The driver and single occupant of the vehicle, a 66-year-old man from Brahma Lodge, died at the scene.
Police say the driver had a medical episode just before the crash.
A report will be prepared for the State Coroner.
Dorothy St was closed between Jersey Ave and Norfolk Ave but has since reopened to all traffic.
If follows another serious crash at Seacliff Park on Sunday night.
About 9pm, authorities were called to Brighton Rd to reports a car had hit a Stobie pole.
The driver of the vehicle, a 22-year-old Hackham woman, was taken by ambulance to the Flinders Medical Centre with non life-threatening injuries.
Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
