Robert Bell, husband, father and life member of Ingle Farm Soccer Club named as victim of incident in Morialta Conservation Park
The man who died after falling 100m at Morialta Conservation Park has been remembered by dozens of people in touching tributes by his wife and sports clubs.

The victim of Saturday’s Morialta cliff fall has been identified as beloved husband and father Robert Bell.
Rebecca Bell took to Instagram to announce the death of her husband.
“It is with a broken heart that I post that the love of my life lost his life today,” she wrote. “Thank you to all his friends and our family who have been there for the girl[s] and I today. He has left a massive hole in my heart. RIP my love.”
A northeastern suburbs soccer club wore black bands on Sunday in tribute of the life member, who tragically fell to his death at Morialta Conservation Park.
It was just after 8.30am Saturday when tragedy struck and Mr Bell, 48, fell about 100m down a cliff at Morialta Conservation Park.
On Sunday evening, Mr Bell’s beloved Ingle Farm Soccer Club announced “with great regret” his sudden death to members.
“Lovingly known as Belly, the Bellmeister, Robbie, and more,” the club wrote.
Mr Bell was a huge part of the club, having been involved for 30 years he was a life member, past secretary., player, referee, sponsor, and “any other role needed”.
“He was an all-round club man. He is loved by us all and will be missed even more,” it said.
“Rest in peace Belly.”
Another northeastern suburbs club, the Tea Tree Gully Soccer Club, also took to social media to pay their condolences
“Club people are hard to find and worth their weight in gold.” it wrote.
“Condolences to the family. a loss to our soccer community.”
Dozens of devastated club mates also were in mourning, including one man who said the world lost one of its great humans.
“Robert Bell was one of those larger than life characters whose mouth matched the size of his heart,” the post wrote.
“Taken away from us far, far too soon, he leaves behind a legacy like all the greats do.
“I still can’t believe it and I’m still thinking I’ll be walking into Ingle Farm Soccer Club on Thursday night and he’ll be there with a Highland scotch in one hand and an opinion on how poor of a soccer player I was.
“Take care my mate, and rest in peace.”
Another man said he was “heartbroken for Bec and the girls”.
“Grateful to have known you and any time I need a pick up …. hundreds of laughs and stories to remember you by,” the man said.
“That smile … that laugh. Love you lots mate … RIP.”
Unofficial Port Adelaide Football Club fan group the Outer Army, also paid a touching tribute.
“From the crazy road trips, marches, car park BBQ, Sewdowns, Bay 132 antics and general shenanigans, you were a huge part of what became an amazing footy family for so many,” the Outer Army wrote.
“We may not be the most active group today but the memories and friendships are enduring and we thank you for that.
“Our thoughts are with your family at this time, you will be missed.”
Mr Bell leaves behind his wife and two girls.
It was a sombre night at the Ingle Farm Soccer Club on Saturday night, and all three division 1 teams wore black arm bands at the A, B and C grade games against Para Hills West on Sunday.
Friends said Mr Bell was not an avid hiker but was trying to do more walks to stay fit.
The Houghton man reportedly had medical episode at First Falls Walk around Eagle Nest lookout.
Emergency crews flocked to the scene and distressed witnesses consoled each other in the carpark.
A report is being made for the Coroner.
