South Australian women are reporting they are more tired but can’t sleep, more burnt-out but can’t find time to unwind, more anxious and sad than ever before, and are taking longer to bounce back than men.

Adelaide founder of Lived Experience Australia Janne McMahon OAM knows well the impact on mental health on women’s lives.

She has lived with major depression, panic disorder and severe anxiety and has become leading advocate for mental health consumers and carers across Australia.

Ms McMahon will join us at noon on Wednesday for a live video Q&A, with Monash University Professor of Global Health Jane Fisher, and Working Women’s Centre SA youth project officer Maddie Sarre.

The forum is part of the Let’s Talk: Our State of Mind 2020 campaign by The Advertiser and Sunday Mail to help our community address mental health challenges now and into the future.

If you’ve got a question for our panel, you can post it ahead of the event in the comments box below.
