In a little more than a month the Royal Adelaide Show will open the gates, with organisers on the hunt for thousands of workers to help bring the magic together while making easy cash.
As one of the state’s biggest events, the Royal Adelaide Show starts on Saturday, September 2, and will wrap up on September 10, giving workers the chance to make some big bucks in fewer than ten days.
Executive officer of Royal Show, Will Rayner said while event organisers are getting “fired up” for the show, they are in desperate need of thousands of more staff.
“You can almost feel the spring in the air, so we’re really excited and getting fired up,” Mr Rayner told 7NEWS.
“We’ve got about 10,000 people we need to have on site ready, and we’re out there busily recruiting.”
According to Seek, workers can grab a position for casual food and beverage attendants, labourers, junior showbag sales and general hands working in different livestock pavilions.
Other less glamorous positions, such as event cleaners or bin runners, attract an impressive hourly rate ranging from $30.09 to $54.15 per hour, for shifts between 9am to 11pm.
