High-speed pursuit overnight reached speeds of up to 200km an hour

A man has been arrested and his car impounded after a pursuit where he clocked up to 200km/h in Adelaide’s north.
About 11pm on Saturday, police were called to Taylor’s Rd in Virginia after reports of a car doing burnouts.
A Ford sedan was seen leaving with police activating their emergency lights in an attempt to stop the vehicle, but it took off at speed.
Police called in PolAir, which then tracked the car, where it allegedly reached up to 200km/h.
The car turned on to Old Port Wakefield Rd, then appeared to blow a tyre and spin-out.
A Hamley Bridge man, 27, was arrested and charged with four driving charges and possession of a firearm without a licence.
He will face Elizabeth Magistrates Court on Monday
