Firearms, axe seized and Salisbury East man arrested after road rage incident at Para Hills
Police have raided a Salisbury East home, seizing firearms and an axe allegedly used by a man accused over a terrifying road rage assault.

A man has been arrested and multiple weapons seized in connection with a terrifying road rage incident at Para Hills last week.
Authorities allege around 12.30pm on March 10, the victim was threatened by a man seen driving erratically on Smart Rd and McIntyre Rd at Modbury.
Both parties stopped their vehicles in Para Hills and the suspect allegedly threatened the victim while armed with an axe.
On Wednesday morning, officers from the Serious and Organised Crime Branch searched a Salisbury East home, allegedly finding a .25 calibre handgun, ammunition and two gel blasters. An axe was also seized from a vehicle.
A 23-year-old local man was arrested and charged with aggravated assault, driving disqualified, three counts of possessing a firearm without a licence and insecure ammunition.
He was bailed to appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court in April.
A 29-year-old woman, from the same address, was reported for three counts of possessing a firearm without a licence and insecure ammunition. She will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
Detective chief inspector David Huddy from the Serious and Organised Crime Branch said illegal firearms and other weapons in the community are a concern.
“Especially by anyone allegedly engaging in such erratic and violent behaviour,” he said.
