A car has been destroyed by a fire in the driveway of a northern suburbs home, marking the second time a car has been targeted at the same address is just over a month.

Police were called to Leeds Ave in Northfield after reports of a Jeep on fire just before 2am.

Metropolitan Fire Services extinguished the blaze but the car was extensively damaged.

Crime Scene Investigators attended the scene and deemed the fire suspicious.

“I came out and saw the car up in flames, it scared the crap out of us,” one neighbour told Channel 7 News.

But the incident has happened before at the address, just five weeks ago, Channel 7 reported.

“It’s happened I think twice in a month now so we are really concerned about it,” neighbour Zeeshan Aslam told 7 News Adelaide.

“Someone has to take some action and look for the people who are doing these things.”
