A former Trinity College teacher accused of child sex offences has died.
Matthew Corey Schulz, 45, of Cockatoo Valley was accused of one count of being an adult who sexually abused a child, and two counts of engaging in sexual intercourse with a person without consent.
It is understood Schulz died on Thursday, according to 7NEWS.
Mr Schulz was due to appear in court in November.
Under South Australian law, the offence of sexually abusing a child carries a maximum sentence of life imprisonment.
Court documents allege the offence occurred between 2011 and 2012 at a location in the northern suburbs.
Mr Schulz was working at Trinity College at Gawler when arrested, but the allegations do not arise from his time there nor do they involve any students of the school.
