‘Even the dust pan and broom’: South Australian police release outrageous list of stolen items from Southern Adelaide homes
Police have called on the public to assist after two Southern suburbs homes were “cleaned out by thieves”, with intruders taking everything including bed sheets, oven trays and towels.

South Australian police have released an unbelievable list of items stolen from homes in the southern suburbs of Adelaide.
Sometime between Wednesday, July 19, and Tuesday, August 1, two homes on The Esplanade at Aldinga Beach were broken into.
The homes were “cleaned out by thieves” police said, taking their time to rip sheets off beds, pull down artwork – and even steal oven trays and a dustpan and brush.
Police released a full list of items stolen:
Washing machine
Kettle
Toaster
TVs
BBQ
Artwork
Bed Frame
Mattresses
Quilts
Towels
Rug
Pillows
Kitchen Utensils
Oven trays
Vacuum
Nintendo 64
Dustpan and broom
Thieves also stole a blue Yamaha VX180 jetski and silver McKay trailer.
“Thieves would have required a large vehicle to take all the items,” the police statement said.
Police are appealing to anyone with any information or anyone who may have seen any suspicious behaviour between July 19 and August 1 to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
