A popular international airline is gearing up to bring a huge aircraft to Adelaide by the end of next year.

Emirates Airbus 350 is expected to land in Adelaide Airport by mid 2024, in hopes of reinstating non-stop services that were reduced since the pandemic.

In a statement on Tuesday, the airline said they are in “close discussions” with Adelaide Airport” to recommence the non-stop services to Dubai.

The return of flight services adds to the airlines global network expansion plans, “by allowing its fleet to grow and free up more of Emirates’ long-range aircraft to service points like Adelaide.”

With the introduction of the aircraft, passengers could also see a reduction in airfares because of increased competition with other airlines.

Emirates plans on expanding its A380 distribution to meet the rising travel demand, which is currently operating Airbus A380 to over 50 destinations.
