Elizabeth mum takes home $1m Weekday Windfall Lotto win

A single mother has snagged an “accidental” Lotto windfall, the latest in a string of life-changing northern suburbs wins.

Lotto winner reveals what she spent her winnings on

A single northern suburbs mum is “accidentally” $1 million richer after snagging a massive Lotto win.

The Elizabeth woman scored the prize in Friday’s Weekday Windfall draw after selecting one number different from her regular numbers — and said it couldn’t have come at a better time.

The mother said she would finally be able to buy a home for herself and her children.

“I can’t tell you how much this means to me, it’s life changing,” she said.

“I used all my regular numbers except for one, I must’ve clicked it by accident instead of my normal choice … it’s meant to be.

“This is just so much stress taken off me.”

The winning numbers in Friday’s Weekday Windfall draw were 3, 1, 20, 9, 18 and 4, while the supplementary numbers were 10 and 12.

It’s the latest big win for northern suburbs residents, after a “middle-aged” man took home $150m in the country’s biggest individual Powerball win last month, with a ticket purchased from the OTR Salisbury Drive Thru.

Two major jackpots were also recently drawn at adjacent Mawson Lakes, while a Yorke Peninsula man was left “shaking like a leaf” after his own $4.8 million Lotto windfall.
