A meth positive driver allegedly led police to a drug haul at a regional home after a traffic stop.
Police stopped a car on the Augusta Highway at Crystal Brook about 11.15am Tuesday and submitted the driver to a drug test, who allegedly returned a positive result.
The man’s car was searched where they found a total 4.5kg of cannabis packed in individual plastic bags in the rear seat of the vehicle.
Patrols then raided his home and found more drugs and other equipment.
A Napperby man, 60, was arrested and charged with trafficking a controlled drug.
He was refused bail to appear in the Port Pirie Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
It follows a raid in a northern suburbs home last month which led police to 80kg of cannabis.
The Para Hills home was searched on June 6 where they located 19 plants and 80kg of dried cannabis.
