The SANFL and SANFLW will play at empty stadiums.

BASKETBALL

Basketball SA’s premier league and junior games cancelled until future notice.

SCHOOL SPORTS

All IGSSA and Catholic secondary school girls sports cancelled until further notice, but training will go ahead.

HEAD OF THE RIVER

The SA Schools’ Head of the River went ahead on Monday as a shorter version.

OAKBANK EASTER RACING CARNIVAL

The coronavirus pandemic forced changes in another prominent South Australian sporting event, with the 2020 Oakbank Easter Racing Carnival set to be ran in front of no spectators.

SHOWS AND CONCERTS

SIX THE MUSISCAL

Blockbuster Six The Musical - a centrepiece of the Adelaide Cabaret Festival - has been postponed amid the COVID-19 crisis. The rave-reviewed show, celebrating girlpower from Tudor queens to pop princesses was slated to play the newly restored her Majesty’s Theatre from June 11-28.

SCHOOL OF ROCK - THE MUSICAL

BASS says there will “likely be changes” to the opening night on Saturday at the Festival Theatre, but it’s unclear what that is.

ADELAIDE SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA

The Adelaide Symphony Orchestra has postponed two events: Ben Folds: The Symphonic Tour at Thebarton Theatre this Thursday and Come and Play on Saturday.

STATE OPERA OF SA

Carmina Burana, at Memorial Drive on March 27, and its season of The Barber of Seville at the Festival Theatre in May, suspended. Tickets to be automatically refunded

CIRQUE DU SOLIEL

KURIO Adelaide show, May 28 to June 21.

SACE ART SHOW

The opening night tonight at Light Square Gallery cancelled, exhibition open from March 17

HARRY POTTER AND THE CURSED CHILD

The Melbourne run of the theatre show has been suspended until April 12. Tickets will be refunded. More performances are set for later in the year

RED HOT SUMMER TOUR

The sold-out Red Hot Summer Tour at Seppeltsfield in the Barossa, with Hunters & Collectors, James Reyne, The Living End, The Angels, Baby Animals, Killing Heidi and Boom Crash Opera, has been postponed from March 29 to October 10.

Red Hot Summer Tour dates in Kiama, NSW, and Ballarat, Victoria, have also been postponed until October, while six other dates around the country have been cancelled.

PARKRUN

Parkrun events globally, including Australia, cancelled until at least the end of March.
