A child has been badly burned in Adelaide’s eastern suburbs, while a young woman suffered injuries to her face in a barbecue incident in a town on the River Murray.

A child has suffered serious burns to their face and head following an incident in the eastern suburbs.
SA Ambulance crews, including specialist MedSTAR personnel, were called to Jenkins Ave, Rostrevor just before 11am on Monday.
The child was assessed at the scene and before being taken to the Women’s and Children’s Hospital.
Young woman injured in BBQ incident
A young woman has been flown to hospital after she sustained facial burns in an incident in the Mid Murray.
The woman, 18, was injured in an incident involving a gas barbecue at Swan Reach about 12.30pm on Monday.
She was flown via MedSTAR helicopter to the Royal Adelaide Hospital.
She remains in a stable condition but it is unclear how the woman sustained the injuries.
