CCTV at a North Adelaide home catches e-scooter thief red-handed

A thief has been caught red-handed, stealing an e-scooter from a home just north of the city. See the footage.

A man has been caught on CCTV stealing an e-Scooter from a North Adelaide home.

The footage shows a man attempting to break into the courtyard several times before climbing over an outside gate.

The man is then seen grabbing the scooter and sliding it through a gap in the fence.

Sam Cavallaro told 7News he believes the footage will be helpful in identifying the thief.

“This guy is so confident that he knows he can get away with it,” he said.

This comes as nine grey or black Cube e-bikes have been stolen from a Port Lincoln business.

A shed on the Bel-Air Drive property was broken into between 10pm on Monday and 8.30am on Tuesday.

Police are urging anyone who saw suspicious activity in the area or who may have any CCTV to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
