Two thieves have broken into a Para Hills car yard, getting away with thousands of dollars worth of vehicles and property.
7NEWS obtained CCTV footage from Para Hills Auto Parts, showing the pair forcing their way through the front door security screen at 6am on Thursday morning.
They can be seen going behind the counter and rummaging around, before making an escape with cash, power tools and laptops with business records.
CCTV cameras outside then captured them breaking into a Volkswagen Golf convertible.
The pair discovered it did not have a battery, so they ripped one out from another car to get it started, driving away with the stolen goods.
They returned shortly afterwards to steal a motorbike, and the owner told 7NEWS the pair got away with a haul valued at about $20,000.
Police have since recovered the dumped Volkswagen Golf and the motorbike, but the two alleged thieves remain at large.
