Cars stolen from Unley Park as elite suburb homes hit by break-ins
Police are hunting for a group of thieves after two break-ins in Adelaide’s wealthiest suburbs, with a Mercedes among the items stolen.

Police are searching for a group of thieves after two break-ins in two of Adelaide’s most expensive suburbs.
About 2.30am Monday, a group broke into a home on Northgate St at Unley Park and stole a Mercedes sedan and a black Toyota HiLux while the occupants of the home were asleep.
About 45 minutes later, police were called to a home on Beulah Rd at Kensington Park after receiving reports a group had broken in and stolen car keys and a handbag.
Police said no one in the home was confronted or harmed by the thieves, with witnesses seeing the group flee the home in the stolen Mercedes and HiLux.
Tracking equipment in the Mercedes was used to track the car through Ingle Farm before it was found dumped on North East Rd at Modbury.
The handbag stolen from the Beulah Rd home was found inside the car.
Police said the suspects had fled the scene and were yet to be located, along with the HiLux with registration number S308CLG.
Last week, a red Alfa Romeo station wagon had lost control and crashed down an embankment in Paradise after the car was stolen from an address in Unley.
