Car torched after Bridgewater supermarket ram-raided
A luxury car erupted in flames overnight – shortly after a Bridgewater supermarket was ram-raided – and police are investigating a possible link. Watch the video.

A thief is on the run after ram-raiding a store before robbing it at Bridgewater.
The car crashed into the doors of a supermarket on Mount Barker Rd about 4.30am, causing the alarms to go off.
When police arrived they found significant damage to the front doors of the shop and multiple phones stolen.
The incident was caught on CCTV, police say.
A short time later, police responded to a car fire further up the road.
The blaze was quickly contained but the Mercedes, which had been abandoned, was badly damaged.
Police are investigating links between the car theft and fire, and are yet to find the suspects.

It follows a similar incident last month which saw thieves crash into Cellarbrations Blackwood before robbing it of alcohol.
Following the robbery, thieves also torched the suspect vehicle.
