A man has died following a serious crash at Coulta on Tuesday morning.

About 9.30am on January 17, a car crashed into trees along the Flinders Hwy, about 60km northwest of Port Lincoln.

The driver, a 63 year-old Eyre Peninsula man, was the sole occupant of the car.

He died at the scene.

The Flinders Hwy remains blocked at the scene with diversions in place at Coles Point Rd and Poona Lane.
