A 28-year-old man has died after a horrific crash at Evandale.
Emergency services were called to the intersection of Portrush Rd and Edward St just after 3.40pm after reports of a collision between a car and a motorbike.
The motorbike rider was travelling north, when he collided with a van travelling west, blocking traffic on the busy intersection.
Heartbreaking messages are now being left at the scene.
The 28-year-old male motorcyle rider from Athelstone died at the scene, while a 21-year-old man from Hove was not physically injured. He taken to Royal Adelaide Hospital as a precaution.
Major Crash Investigators attended the scene, to determine the circumstances leading up to the crash.
Several lanes were closed while investigators were at the scene, causing significant delays.
