A bushfire in Lucindale, near Naracoorte, has been contained after it burned uncontrollably.

The threat of a Lucindale bushfire has been reduced after residents were instructed by authorities to prepare to leave.
CFS advised residents the threat of the bushfire has been reduced after it was contained by emergency services.
“However people are reminded to take care in the area,” the warning read.
“Smoke will reduce visibility on the roads and there is a risk of falling trees and branches.”
Earlier another threat was issued for the state’s Eyre Peninsula to “take action” as it burned uncontrolled near a home, but has since been reduced.
Water bombers were dispatched to the area and a number of CFS crews worked to bring the fire under control from the ground.
The CFS urged people to take care in the area as smoke will reduce visibility on the roads and there is a risk of falling trees and branches.
