Liquidators say they are working to make sure families get their school photos after the sudden collapse of national Torrensville-based photography business.
Academy School Photography & Production called in liquidators after a meeting on Friday.
The family-owned photography firm, which specialised in school photos, operated for more than 30 years with offices in Adelaide, Brisbane, Perth and Sydney.
All branches will close.
Employees have also been told the business is closing and all future bookings are cancelled.
The company phone lines had been disconnected by Tuesday.
Liquidator Anthony Phillips from Heard Phillips and Lieberenz said his firm was now working to notify schools affected by the closures.
Mr Phillips said the main priority during the liquidation process was s securing key data and photos held by the company and ensuring current photos on file were transferred to clients.
Academy School Photography & Production specialised in photographs, school yearbooks and printing.
Mr Phillips said that company management was not able to comment on the situation at this stage.
