A Christie Downs woman has won $1.373m in Saturday’s X Lotto

A Christie Downs woman thought she’d won $1000 in Saturday’s X Lotto. But then she took another look, and realised she’d missed a few 0s.

A woman from Christie Downs has hit the jackpot – winning $1,373,785.97 in Saturday’s X Lotto.

While she did contemplate retiring immediately, the woman said she still planned to go to work on Monday.

“I didn’t have my glasses on when I first looked at my ticket yesterday morning. I thought, ‘oh, hang on a minute, I’ve won $1000’. I was so excited. But then I saw it was $1.3m,” she said.

The woman held one of the four division one winning entries in Saturday X Lotto draw 4279; there were two winners from Queensland, one from Victoria and one from SA.

The winning numbers for the draw were 3, 40, 38, 32, 24 and 20, and the supplementary numbers were 31 and 5.

Each division one winning entry scored $1,362,315.17.

As well as winning division one, the woman’s system 8 entry also won division three 12 times and division four 15 times, bringing her total winnings to $1,373,785.97.

“I’ve been playing those numbers for years. I just love those numbers and now they’ve finally come up. I love them a lot more now,” she said.

“I just want to pay off my house so I know it’s all paid for and I can spoil the grandkids.”

So far this year, 255 winners have taken out division one, 24 were SA Lotteries customers.
