It follows the death of cyclist Brad Prust, who died in hospital on Tuesday, July 18, following a mountain bike crash at Woodcroft the previous Sunday.

The Somerton Park man was taken by ambulance to the Flinders Medical Centre but died of his injuries.

The much-loved 41-year-old had been riding with a friend, who administered CPR at the scene, before an ambulance arrived.

His mother Dawn Prust paid tribute to her “capable and generous” son in an emotional tribute posted to social media on Thursday.

“My beautiful boy Brad died yesterday (Tuesday) after a catastrophic mountain bike accident on Sunday – doing what he loved,” she said.

Ms Prust said Brad loved people and would always be willing to offer a helping hand.
