Salisbury man dies after falling while fishing at Browns Beach, Innes National Park
A northern suburbs man has been identified as the fisherman who died after falling into the water at a popular Yorke Peninsula beach, with police detailing the moment his friends tried to save him.

The body of a 41-year-old man from Salisbury has been found by fishermen after he went missing in the water at Yorke Peninsula.
Nasir Mohsani was reported missing at 8pm on Saturday night when he fell into the water while fishing with friends at Browns Beach in Innes National Park.
Police conducted a search on Sunday, which included PolAir, Water Operations Unit and national park rangers.
Speaking at the scene on Sunday, Superintendent Mark Syrus police were in touch with the devastated family and friends who tried to rescue Mr Mohsani before he was swept away.
“When he entered the water he was on his back and the other members were trying to cast some lines over him so he could grab hold of the line,” he said.
“We are working with the family to make sure they are supported in this terrible tragic time.”
His body was recovered at 1.40pm on Sunday near Pondalowie Bay, about 8km southwest of where he went missing.
The victim’s family told 7NEWS they had recently moved from Afghanistan to SA in search of a better life.
Police will prepare a report for the coroner and said there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.
A 16-year-old boy drowned at Browns Beach in 2021 after being washed off rocks with four other people.
A 20-year-old man also drowned at the fishing hotspot after falling off rocks in 2019.
