A young motorist has avoided serious injury after flipping his car onto its roof on Belair Rd at Torrens Park after crashing into a light pole.

A 20-year-old man has had a lucky escape after his car crashed into a light pole, and flipped onto its roof at Torrens Park.
Just after 5.30am, emergency services were called to Belair Rd after reports that a Mitsubishi ute had crashed into a light pole at Torrens Park, on Sunday.
The ute had rolled onto its roof and brought the power lines down.
The male driver from Malvern managed to escape the crash with non-life threatening injuries, but was taken to the Flinders Medical Centre as a precaution.
Belair Rd was forced to close to all traffic on Sunday morning at the intersection of Springbank Rd and Blythewood Rd while emergency services worked at the scene.
