Whether you need to pop to the shops for a last minute Easter egg or hot cross bun purchase or make a quick dash for toilet paper, it’s important to know when your local is open.

From supermarkets to department stores, we’ve put together a list of SA shops open from Good Friday to Easter Monday, March 29 to April 1.

Here’s where you can and can’t shop over the Easter weekend.

Supermarkets

COLES

Good Friday: All stores closed, except for Mount Barker, Victor Harbor and Murray Bridge Green

Easter Saturday: All stores open

Easter Sunday: All stores closed, except for Adelaide Rundle Place, Whyalla, Murray Bridge Green, Victor Harbor, Mount Barker, Berri, Port Lincoln, Port Pirie, Port Augusta and Mount Gambier

Easter Monday: All stores closed, except for Adelaide Rundle Place, Whyalla, Murray Bridge Green, Victor Harbor, Mount Barker, Berri, Port Lincoln, Port Pirie, Port Augusta and Mount Gambier

WOOLWORTHS
Good Friday: All closed except for Victor Harbor, Mt Barker, Mount Barker South and Murray Bridge Marketplace.

Easter Saturday: All open, except for some metro stores. Check your local store here

Easter Sunday: Most closed, check your local store here

Easter Monday: Most closed, check your local store here

ALDI

All ALDI stories will be closed across the state on Good Friday.

Stores will reopen on Saturday with opening times varying on both Easter Sunday and Monday.

Customers are advised to check the ALDI store locator online for their local store trading hours.

DRAKES

All Drake stores iun SA will be closed on Good Friday except for Ardrossan, Aston Hills, Glenunga, Grange, Kingscote, Moonta, Murray Bridge, Port Lincoln, Sunnybrook, Victor Harbor, Walkley Heights, Wallaroo, West Beach and Yankalilla.

These stores will continue trading as usual over the long weekend with all stores trading on Easter Saturday.

IGA

On Good Friday, IGA stores will be open in: Middleton, Mannum Green, Beckers Auburn, Mount Barker, Orroroo, Novar Gardens, Penneshaw, Two Wells, Clare, Compass, Gladstone, Hackham, Glenelg East, Henley Beach South, Kingston SE, Mount Barker, Hill Top, Stansbury, Port Vincent, Edithburgh, Semaphore, Coffin Bay, Goolwa, Darlington, Kapunda, Karoonda, Adelaide City East, Goodwood, Laura, Brooklyn Park and Woodside.

As opening times for stores across the state will differ over the long weekend, customers are advised to check their local store’s trading hours online.
