A man involved in a fatal buggy rollover has been released from hospital.

The man was taken to Rockhampton hospital with a head injury following the rollover at a property in Central Queensland last week, in which a 30-year-old woman died.

Paramedics were called to the property at Cawarral about 7.57pm Friday, June 13, and found the woman with “significant life-threatening injuries”.

On Saturday morning police confirmed a report would be prepared for the Coroner after the woman died.

The man with a head injury was checked on scene and taken to Rockhampton hospital in a stable condition.

Investigations are continuing.

It’s the second time someone has been killed in a buggy crash in the Rockhampton region in the past year.

In September, 2024, a 19-year-old girl died after a buggy crash at a Canoona property.
