We are giving you unprecedented access to the 2024 Queensland election campaign with the opportunity to grill the leaders on the issues that matter most to you.

Every day over the next four weeks we will look to our readers to submit questions they’d like us to ask Steven Miles or David Crisafulli.

Here are the five questions in the running to be asked tomorrow:

Ben - Rockhampton - As someone who grew up in the regions, what will you do to close the educational gap between rural and urban schools? I believe there is a clear divide in the experiences of our young Queenslanders.

Lynda Harding - Ridgelands - How will you reduce hospital waiting times for patients to receive urgent surgery?

Steve Taylor - Brisbane City - As a leader, what will you do to ensure parliament sessions regain respect and dignity with fair discussion instead of the childish and disrespectful behaviour we witness every question time?

Laurie - Townsville - Will you consider North Queensland becoming an independent state?

Nick - Gaythorne - Why does Labor continue to believe that QSAC is the option for the new Olympic stadium when Queenslanders have been clear that we don’t want it there?
