Rob Maisano: Car-loving ‘coffee king’ lists Toorak mansion
A caffeinated entrepreneur who loves exotic cars and frequents the social pages has listed his luxe home.

A coffee entrepreneur with a penchant for exotic cars is hoping to brew up a big sale for his equally luxurious Toorak home.
Rob Maisano — who has been described as the “coffee king” — and his wife, Emily, have $6.5-$7m price hopes for their classic 1930s mansion at 10 Kyeamba Grove, which they’ve thoroughly renovated.
Mr Maisano made his name, and his fortune, in the 2000s as a coffee supplier running business The Coffee Company, the Herald Sun reported in 2017.

Maisano Coffee Concepts then became Australia’s biggest event coffee caterer before it was sold off in 2008. These days, Mr Maisano is attached to the Coffee Machine Warehouse.
He and his wife have been regulars in the social pages over the years, with Mr Maisano also telling the Herald Sun of his love of James Bond-style cars in 2007, noting the Aston Martin he owned at the time was “not my first (great car) and if all goes to plan, it certainly won’t be my last”.
CoreLogic records show the couple has owned the Kyeamba Grove property since 2017, when it changed hands for $4.25m.

Kay & Burton South Yarra selling agent Robert Fletcher said they had since updated “every element of the home”, while keeping its “intrinsic charm” as a product of the “classic 1930s era of Toorak” intact.
“The buyer profile is clearly families who will want to entertain. (The vendors) have fully enjoyed that aspect of the property,” he said.
“The way the kitchen and living space flows out to an undercover alfresco area and a large family-orientated pool is an absolute highlight.”
The state-of-the art kitchen features marble benches, a steamer and induction cooktop, while the bluestone-paved alfresco terrace has a stainless-steel barbecue, a built-in fridge and a TV.
And the striking living area boasts a stone-finished fireplace and a cosy window seat.
A study and dining spaces complete the ground floor, while the home’s four bedrooms are concentrated upstairs. The pick of the bedrooms has a walk-in wardrobe and a marble ensuite.
The home is tucked away in a cul-de-sac near the Toorak and Kooyong Villages, and top schools including St Catherine’s Girls’ School, Loreto Mandeville Hall, Lauriston Girls’ School and St Kevin’s College.
Its expressions of interest campaign closes March 18.
