Young Territorians are set to have a colourful, week-long party this Dry season.
The City of Palmerston has confirmed its free seven-day Youth Festival will return in 2024, featuring music, activities and the Geekfest Top End event.
City of Palmerston Mayor Athina Pascoe-Bell said the week would be “unforgettable”.
“We are thrilled to announce the return of Palmerston Youth Festival – this event serves as a vital platform for our youth to come together, express themselves, and actively participate in our community,” she said.
“We look forward to delivering an unforgettable festival experience that celebrates youth culture, fosters creativity, and strengthens community connections.”
Intended to champion the young people of Palmerston, the festival, open to all ages, has been previously graced by the performances of Baker Boy, DJ Havana Brown, Electric Fields, and local rapper J Milla.
The crowd favourite Geekfest Top End event will open the celebration, with the festival concert to bring the week-long event to a close.
Set for July 6 to 12, the festival’s program, featured acts and event locations will be unveiled at a later date.
