A WATERSPOUT has blown through Darwin Harbour.
The Bureau of Meteorology issued a thunderstorm warning on Thursday afternoon and later posted a photo of the waterspout.
There were warnings of strong winds across greater Darwin associated with the waterspout.
Sightings were made at East Point and Nightcliff.
A reader also sent in a video of the spout off the Ski Club in Fannie Bay.
The wild weather comes in front of a deepening tropical low, with authorities warning it could develop into a cyclone on Friday or Saturday.
