A DISTURBING video has emerged showing a group of youths taunting a lone man, threatening him and attempting to assault him as he walks along a street at night in the Darwin CBD.
The video, which was posted online, shows the group of youths kicking out at the man, throwing unknown objects at him and shaping up to hit him.
It’s understood the incident occurred in the Darwin CBD.
The man can be seen stopping several times and at one point, after the youths threaten him a number of times, lunges at the group.
The youths run away from the man after he challenges them back.
Three young people can be seen in the video with another behind the camera.
Gangster rap music has been put to the video.

The lyrics of the music at one point are: “F*ck this f*ck that, f*ck the cops, f*ck the gold diggers”.
It’s not clear what happened after the video was filmed.
An NT Police spokeswoman said police were aware of the video and making inquiries.
Police asked the man in the video to contact them to make a statement of complaint.
