MORE than 1000 Territorians sent in their snaps showcasing the Northern Territory’s natural beauty as part of Tourism NT’s recent Livin’ Local social media photo competition.
Alice Springs resident Becky Page-Wood and Darwin resident Sarsha Sheriff’s picture-perfect entries were picked as the winners and both took away a $4000 holiday voucher to spend in the NT.
Tourism NT’s panel of judges selected the winners based on how effectively entries captured the essence of the NT through the eyes of a local and reflected the Territory lifestyle we’re famous for.
Ms Sheriff’s winning snap was of a line of water buffaloes walking through flood plains at Bamurru Plains.
“I get a real buzz from sharing special moments and beautiful places on social media, knowing that each post I share will inspire at least one person and add a positive spin to their day,” she said.
